What Happens After? Final Fantasy IV: The After

So you thought the sequel and prequel game was finished with the Final Fantasy series? Think again. Although Final Fantasy X 2 was extreme enough, Final Fantasy is at it again.

Final Fantasy IV will launch in mobile version as Final Fantasy IV: The After, exclusively to Japanese mobiles. It comes at the same time as the remake of the Super Famicon classic, Square Enix.

If you've picked up the DS version, you'll be able to see what happens after the game is finished. You're new hero, Ceodore, is the son of FFIV hero and heroine Cecil and Rosa. What happens at the end? Well, you can find out through Ceodore's eyes and catch up with other older characters.

The game starts out with Ceodore and Cecil fighting off monsters. You'll be taken back in time with the graphics - even though it is in 3D, it doesn't have the most modern look and feel.

The sound, however, trumps the look. You can hear the tunes in great sound and once it gets a bit of an update form Square Enix, you'll want that head gear on to hear it in stereo.

You will notice Active Time Battle (ATB) is part of the system. This adds a feeling of real time battle o the game, although fans of Final Fantasy will appreciate its old time side view of the action.

What's even more interesting is the way the game will be distributed. Instead of one big paid download, it will be issued in a series. Even more enticing is the fact that the first download will be free.

If you're a fan of FFIV, it's well worth your time for the free download. And we guess you'll probably find yourself buying the future packages - it's just THAT good.
