Infospace's Atlas Mobile Studio is back again. Following with the success of Ms. Pac-Man for Prizes and Tetris Tournament for Prizes, they've tapped into yet another game that focuses on winning gif certificates and prizes. Wheel in the latest product, Wheel of Fortune for Prizes. It might not be the solidest in their line up but it's sure to pull in a good variety of players.
If you watch the show, the prizes will be no surprise. The wheel is there too, with all its letters, numbers and of course, bankrupt sign. As it's a tourney game, it's slightly different. There's no long time to decide over the puzzle. 5 minutes is the maximum game time. The clock is always in your face. To finish the game you have 3 separate rounds to go through. And your final letters are chosen for you.
There is also a 'turn limit' placed to finish the puzzle. If you hit a letter or vowel - you're still on the same turn. But a bankrupt or lose a turn and that comes out of your total 5, which can disappear faster than you think.
Frustrating parts of the show carry over to the game. It's been running on TV so long, they're running out of phrases. This can leave you a bit shocked when the answer is revealed and you can't really connect it with the clue.
Wheel of Fortune for Prizes has a nice look and feel. You can read the text and playing with your pad is easy. The wheel has a special screen as well. Try to get yourself a jackpot wedge - your opponent won't stand a chance.
Wheel of Fortune for Prizes is great for tournaments. Winning will begin to come easily and then you’ll start getting text messages to let you know how to get your prizes. Remember, it's always best to get a few practice games in before you jump into a tourney.

While it's not the strongest of Atlas tournament games, Wheel of Fortune for Prizes is adequate. Puzzles can be a bit 'out there' and the 5 turn limit can be frustrating. If you're a big fan of the TV show, this is the phone game for you.
