Da Vinci Code Helix
Don't expect much from Da Vinci Code Helix phone game
Just as some would say the movie was a disappointment, so too will you find the phone game. The Da Vinci Code Helix, released shortly after the movie, has recognizable puzzles that fall a little flat.
Similar to Zuma, you being shooing colored balls at spheres. The object is to line them up and make them disappear. This can break the snake to save you time before the two ends connect. If the chain gets to the hole at the end, you lose. There are various tricks for you to use, to get at all the balls and win the game.
And how does this connect to the Da Vinci Code you ask? Sandcastle has designed it so that all the puzzles you complete end up looking like the religious symbols hence the connection. You'll also find the power-ups have a similarity to religious artifacts. However, the way a game looks does not define totally how well it can be played. It seems not well thought out and possibly and opportunity to cash in on the Da Vinci Code phenomenon.
LAST WORD
Helix is quite a standard puzzle game. The design is good and the puzzle plots are interesting enough. We’re just not sure if it’s' worth the money.
