AT&T

AT&T Mobility is the wireless provider of AT&T Inc. The largest mobile company in the United States, the existing company came to be January 2007 after various mergers and purchases.

Cingular Wireless was the company's original name and purchased the mobile company in 2006. It was officially rebranded AT&T in June 2007, to coincide with the launch of the Apple iPhone.

Today, it's most well known for its innovative "Rollover" service, which allows mobile and phone users to carry over minutes from previous months.

AT&T promises cutting-edge data products and services, including mobile games for sale on their website. It boasts the largest international coverage of any U.S. carrier, giving customers the ability to make calls on 7 continents in more than 195 countries and on 75 major cruise ships.

Telephia praised the company back in 2006 stating that Cingular (now AT&T Mobility) dropped the least number of calls for its customers, although controversy surrounds that theory after the company began to advertise their mobile service based around the Fewest Dropped Calls premise. They also strive to accommodate their travelling users, with a wide range of accessories for mobiles and phones.

And the controversy doesn't stop there, however. Due to various mergers and purchases of wireless companies, AT&T was finding itself pushed out of the lucrative NASCAR sponsorship market. After lawsuits back and forth on both sides, NASCAR announced it would like AT&T and all other telecommunications companies out of the sport in 2008. A down to the wire decision left a car in a race in August 2007 without logos but with the company colors. By September, an agreement was reached that AT&T could sponsor NASCAR until 2008 but then must step aside.

Games are available on the AT&T Mobility website and are compatible for mobile phones. Phone plans are available too, including individual plans as well as their 'FamilyTalk'. Its services provide users with original entertainment content, such as media and games. The GoPhone pay as you go service is reasonable and affordable.
